Shared sustainable workspace with soul

The Rural Project regenerates land and the communities it feeds. We work with landowners and farmers to reimagine their assets to provide sustainable revenue streams and revive rural communities with resources and space for businesses, for food growing and for learning.

Rent a space

Yes please. There is an open gate policy at the rural project. We welcome everyone and in fact think it improves our lives and what we produce. So, we have taken this a stage further to mix the space with indoors, outdoors, wild, and farmed land. You can rent desks by the day or month, office space or a workshop in our stable for your craft or craft group. On the land, you can help on our herb farm and use the meadows for your land based work, play and nature connection. We can't wait to open that farm gate!

Learn new skills

What makes this space and the magic of the experience is the mix of disciplines and learning on offer, an the interplay between them from land based skills mixed with enterprise courses, wellbeing, fine art and a range of wild play.

Why?

"I want to use this space because it bring out the best in me and my work. The sense of openness, the diversity and the immediacy of the natural world, improves my quality of life and therefore the quality of my work. There is a community of people here who are local and from the cities, who share a sense of belonging here, and who support one another despite the diversity of our work. Some days I help in the garden, some days I help with the lunch, somedays I attend the meditation courses, somedays I am tempted to join the young kids out in the woods playing, some days I observe enormous sculptures be carried past our window, and some days I simply plug in to my computer; each day I come home feeling better."
